Two apps,
every platform
Campfire ships two desktop apps — one for server admins, one for players. Both are built with Tauri for a fast, lightweight, native experience on Windows, macOS, and Linux.
Campfire Keeper — Host & Manage
The admin desktop app. Run Minecraft servers, manage mods, launch the game, and share servers with players. Embeds the Campfire node — your servers connect to the cloud automatically.

Why Tauri?
Both Keeper and Fireside are built with Tauri — a lightweight desktop runtime using Rust and your OS's native WebView. No bloated browser engine bundled in. Just fast, small, native apps.
No bundled browser
Both apps use Tauri, which renders using the OS-native WebView — not a bundled Chromium. The result is a much smaller install size and lower memory footprint compared to Electron-based apps.
Minimal resource usage
Campfire desktop processes idle well under 100MB of RAM. Server processes themselves run independently, so Campfire's overhead is negligible even while managing multiple servers.
Fast startup
Because there's no browser engine to initialize, both apps open in under a second. The management dashboard and player launcher are available immediately without any loading screens.
Prefer to build from source?
Campfire is built with modern tools. The monorepo contains both Keeper and Fireside. You can build either app locally with a single Tauri build command.
Also available later
A web dashboard and mobile app are on the roadmap — so you can monitor and manage your servers from any browser or device, no desktop install required.
